It was back to the class room for some area teachers as they headed to a RESA 5 workshop Tuesday afternoon.
Teachers from all across the region attended the workshop where David Langford spoke about the tools teachers need to help students take charge of their learning, with the ultimate goal of a more productive learning system.
"The purpose of the workshop is to equip teachers and administrators with the philosophy and tools of Continuous Improvement," says Dave Scragg, Director of Professional Development, RESA 5. "They can take that into the classroom and students can take charge of their own learning and be more productive in the classroom."
Scagg says response to the conferences has been positive with many teachers returning for more than one of Langford's lectures.
