Ten years since her terrifying capture and rescue.
Jessica Lynch's home county says thank you for your service.
Dozens gathered to remember Lynch's ordeal at a candlelight vigil Friday night.
It was an opportunity to say thank you and remember the lives lost during that difficult time.
Lynch says it's the support of people like those in her home county of Wirt that helped her get through the past decade.
"They've been everything you know just from local events to even big ones, I've always had their support and they've continue to do that for the past ten years," says Lynch.
The vigil was held outside in front of the Wirt County Courthouse.
