The valley remembers a former fire chief.
Friends and family gathered Tuesday for the funeral of Virgil Flinn.
Flinn is a former Lubeck Volunteer Firefighter and served as chief for 19 years.
He was also a Korean War Veteran.
Flinn most recently served on the Wood County Airport Authority Board
He was active in planning air shows at the airport.
Flinn was 81 years old.
