WVUP hosted the West Virginia Affordable Healthcare Forum Tuesday evening.
Area healthcare business were there educating everyone about some of the new previsions in the new law which was passed.
This new law is going to help provide affordable healthcare to those who's currently not cover or under-insured.
The forum focused on all of the healthcare law's preventative measures.
"We have an amazing community resources in this area but unfortunately, there's so many different silos that everyone is not coming together on a regular enough basis. So we have different groups that have very similar objectives trying to attack things individually instead of coming together and seeing what we can do as a whole," says Program Developer and Researcher, Dana Singer.
Westbrook Health Services, Planned Parenthood and SNAP Educators were among the healthcare groups in attendance at the forum.
