What would the July 4th weekend be without good company and good food?

WTAP went to Foodland on Plum Street to see which foods were the most popular when it came to the Independence Day meals. As manager David Worst says, once again this year the traditional meals are a favorite entree.

"We're selling all the usual picnic items. We're selling hot dogs, hamburgers, buns," Worst says. "Everything that goes with a picnic. Bakery goods, cakes, pies and cookies."

Worst says this has been a slightly more profitable Independence Day weekend since the holiday falls on a Monday and fewer people are leaving town.
