The West Virginia Department of Transportation's State Rail Authority needs your input about a plan in place.
The organization held a public information meeting Wednesday evening in Parkersburg.
It's all part of their statewide meetings.
People in attendance got to learn about the authority's state rail plan.
They also got a chance to ask questions and express their opinions about the idea.
"I know myself that the general public really knows a lot about what's needed in their particular areas. So if we can take and incorporate those needs and put it into our rail plan to look towards the future, it's going to help the state in general," says West Virginia Department of Transportation's State Rail Authority Executive Director, Cindy Butler.
The State Rail Authority will continue their statewide public information meeting Thursday in Flatwoods.
