UPDATE 9/4/2014 10:45 AM
A Wood County man is sentenced to federal prison for having child pornography.
And it's not the first time he's been caught with it.
Matthew Wiggins is sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison and a life term of supervised release.
Wiggins was convicted last March for accessing child pornography with intent to view it and attempting to persuade a person to destroy evidence.
Authorities say he got the porn on a computer at the Parkersburg and Wood County Library and before his trial he asked someone to destroy a library card.
Wiggins previously spent time in prison for having child porn.
A man who has already served time on federal pornography charges is convicted again, for a third time.
In 2000, Matthew Wiggins was sentenced to over two years for viewing child porn.
Now he is sentenced to a year in prison.
Now a federal judge convicts Wiggins saying he accessed the porn at the Wood County Library. In January of this year investigators found him at the library.
Investigators say Wiggins accessed over 50 images.
Sentencing is set for July 7.
