Tractor Trailer Crash; One Lane of I-77 N CLOSED

UPDATE: One lane is now open on I-77 N.

I-77 N from the Emerson Exit to Williamstown was closed earlier this morning after a tractor trailer rolled onto its side.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office says the driver was taken to Marietta Memorial with minor injures.

We will keep you updated on the total reopening of I-77 N.

An overturned tractor trailer on I-77 N has the interstate after the Emerson Exit CLOSED throughout the morning.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office says around 12:21 AM a tractor trailer drifted into the median, causing the cargo to shift and the truck to roll onto its side.

Authorities say the driver was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries.

No one else was involved in the crash.

The truck was carrying hydraulics that broke lose during the crash, causing them to spill onto the road.

The northbound lane remains close. Traffic is being redirected to the Emerson Exit, onto 31 toward Williamstown, where drivers can reenter I-77
