A semi-truck hydroplanes and jackknifes on the interstate, leaking diesel fuel all over the road.
Crews spent hours Thursday night cleaning up the mess.
The Wood County 911 Center says it happened at about 10 Thursday night.
The semi hydroplaned in the southbound lane of I-77 at mile marker 185.5, just south of the Williamstown exit ramp.
There were no other vehicles involved and the driver was not injured.
A hazmat team was called in to clean up the mess.
Officers remained on the scene until about 3:30 this morning.
The passing lane on the southbound side of the interstate at mile marker 185.5 remains closed at this time.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office says the driver will not be cited.
