Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery of Stolen Property

Three people are facing felony charges after authorities seized stolen property worth over $20,000 Tuesday in Washington county.

According to a press release, Ohio State Highway Troopers stopped a vehicle that was traveling at 100 miles-per- hours on Interstate 77.

Troopers searched the vehicle and found numerous stolen electronics along with fake credit cards.

Ashley Moore and her passengers Dustin Jones and Sanita Moore all of whom are from Detroit, Michigan have been charged with receiving stolen property and posessing criminal tools, which are both felony charges.

Moore was also charged with a speed zone misdemeanor.

If convicted they could face up to 2 and half years behind bars and a $7,500.
