Trafficking Heroin Setencing


Stacy Thompson is sentenced to 42 months in prison after being found guilty for trafficking drugs.

Prosecutors say in August, a jury found Thompson guilty on four counts of trafficking heroin, one of which included a school zone.

Judge Ed Lane sentenced Thompson to the maximum amount on each charge, 12 months for the 3- fifth degree felonies and 18 months on the single fourth degree felony (trafficking in a school zone), but Judge Lane did agree to running two of the 12 months concurrently.

Thompson was ultimately sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She is not expected to pay restitution.
