Problems in Belpre after Tuesday night's storm.

One family is now searching for answers after a tree crashed on top of their home.

Neighbors say they thought a tornado might have hit, as they felt strong winds.

While that didn't happen, those high winds split a tree in half.

And the family hasn't had any luck in finding a solution.

"I feel like my hands are tied. There was nothing that the fire department could do because the tree didn't come through the roof so it wasn't an emergency," says Joclaire Reece.

The city of Belpre is trying to help.

But there's not much they can do either.

CSX railroad owns the land the tree was on.

The company hasn't responded to us or to the homeowner.
