A St. Louis truck driver is fortunate to be okay after a bad accident on the job Monday afternoon in Washington County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it appears 56-year-old Michael Hartwick was driving too fast for the westbound off ramp of Route 50 off of the Blennerhassett Bridge.
The truck flipped on its left side causing responders to re-route westbound traffic to 50 East towards Belpre.
The driver says the truck's load may have shifted as he made the turn.
Fortunately he suffered just minor injuries to his left hand.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office and Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the crash.

The driver of a tractor trailer has minor injuries after flipping the truck on the Route 50 ramp off the Blennerhassett Bridge.
Police say the man is from St. Louis, Missouri.
Drivers are asked to avoid the ramp.
Those trying to get on 50 W are being diverted to 50 E.
