The Boys and Girls Club is ensuring all of its members get a Thanksgiving meal.
Nearly 100 kids sat around one very long table at the Augsburg club this afternoon.
The group feasted on all of the Thanksgiving essentials- green beans, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and of course, turkey.
"they'll probably want an afternoon snack, but i think this should hold them over... and then all the leftovers we can serve on Friday so that will make it twice as good," said Parkersburg Boys and Girls Club Director Michael Flanagan
West Virginia State Senator Frank Deem sponsored Wednesday's meal and Bob Evans provided the food at-cost.
It was the first ever turkey dinner at the Parkersburg Boys and Girls Club. Flanagan hopes to make it an annual event.
