UPDATE: Man Charged in Community Bank Robbery Pleads Guilty

Norman Ratliff, Jr. entered a universal plea Tuesday.

He was originally charged last November for robbing the Community Bank on Emerson Avenue.

He plead guilty to three counts, including forgery, robbery in the second degree and robbery in itself.

His sentencing is February 6th.
Two deaths and a bank robbery were among the cases for which the Wood County Grand Jury issued indictments Thursday.

Victor Lee Thompson, Arthur Allen Thornton and Crystal Dawn Smith were each charged in connection with the death of Brandy Adams,
whose body was found at a Parkersburg car wash last fall.

All three are charged with concealment of a deceased human body, and conspiracy to commit concealment of a deceased human body.

Matthew Edward Lamp was charged with two counts, for the death of a three-year old child last September.

The charges are murder, and death of a child by a guardian or custodian.

And Norman Ratliff, junior was named in an eleven-count indictment.

He's accused of robbing the Community Bank on Emerson Avenue in November.

In addition to robbery, he is charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful taking of a vehicle, driving under the influence, and driving while his license was revoked for DUI third offense.
