Two Heroin Busts, Three Arrested

Two Arrested in Washington County for Trafficking Heroin

Roger Ward Jr. - Arrested for Possession of 13 Balloons of Heroin

Three involved in two separate heroin arrests.

The Sheriff's Office says through a Major Crimes Task Force investigation Robert J. Becker Jr. and Miriam Sergent have been arrested for trafficking heroin.

Agents say they found seven balloons of heroin plus unpackaged heroin in their Marietta home. It all added up to nearly two grams.

Officials tell us this isn't the first time they have been in trouble. Ward has faced burglary, robbery and OVI and Sergent has been charged with trafficking drugs and probation violations.

A second arrest comes after a traffic stop.
The Lowell man, Roger L. Ward Jr. was stopped for a suspended license and when investigators searched the car they say they found 13 balloons of heroin.

Sheriff Mincks says also in the car were three children ranging from eight months old to five years old.

He also say Ward has faced his own list of past charges himself including multiple trafficking drugs.

Becker, Sergent, and Ward all are being held on a $25,000 bond.
