Two men are hurt in a car accident in Wood County.

Deputies say alcohol is a factor.

It happened at 11:30 Thursday night.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office says Tyler George, of Williamstown, was driving south on Williamstown Pike when he ran off the side of the road.

Deputies say George lost control and the car spun, sliding across the road and hitting an I-77 overpass bridge pier.

The car then rolled, landing on its top.

George was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital.

His condition isn't known at this time.

His passenger, Collin Miller, was treated near the scene for minor injuries.

Another passenger, Mackenzie Peters, was not hurt.

The car is a total loss.

The accident is under investigation.
