Saturday was a great day to get into the holiday spirit, as two Washington County cities hosted Christmas parades.
In Marietta, kids and parents gathered on Front Street while those in Belpre held theirs along Washington Boulevard.
They watched several floats drove-by, wishing them a merry Christmas and of course, passing out all that candy.
Perhaps most exciting for children, catching that glimpse of Santa.
"I think the Christmas parade is very fun for kids, especially at the end it gives them something to look forward to," says Savannah Whitten.
"It's going to be fun to watch it and see all the stuff that's going to be in it," added William Patterson.
Great Clips, Belpre in Bloom and the area fire departments were among the participants in both parades.
A few members from WTAP also joined in the fun.
