A two car crash on I-77 sends two people to the hospital. It happened Sunday afternoon near the Williamstown exit.

Police say both cars were driving northbound. They say they believe the white car slowed down and the red Ford truck rear ended it.

Two people from the white car were taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital. No word on their conditions at this time.

The people in the red truck weren't injured.

Traffic was backed up for a few miles but the wreck was quickly cleared. The Wood County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the accident.
