Two Suspects Wanted In Counterfeit Money Scam

The Ritchie County detachment of the West Virginia State Police is asking your help in locating two suspects accused of passing counterfeit money.

According to Senior Trooper C.S. Jackson, on Sunday, November 6th, a white female, between 35 and 45 years old, used five counterfeit $50 bills to pay for fuel and other items at Barker's Marathon Gas Station in Smithville.

The female was accompanied by a white male. He's believed to have dark hair and a goatee, between 35 and 45 years old.

The suspects were driving a dually 4-door diesel truck.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the Harrisville detachment of the West Virginia State Police at (304) 643-2101.
