A Vienna man is arrested after police say he led them on a high speed chase, hitting multiple cars along the way.
Vienna Police say Saturday night they tried stopping Elijah Howell on 16th Street for speeding.
Howell is accused of speeding away and driving through a yard on 17th Street, hitting three unoccupied cars that were parked there.
Officers say Howell then sped to Grand Central Avenue, eventually losing a tire and stopping at the 41st Street and 7th Avenue intersection.
Howell is charged with fleeing in a vehicle from police while under the influence of alcohol, but police say more charges are pending.
He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
