Due to work to get our new CBS station ready to go on the air, our main WTAP transmitter will be off the air periodically this week, mostly during daylight hours.
Tower crews will be working to install new equipment and re-arrange things.
It is our plan to launch our new CBS station in early September.
It will be available free, over-the-air on digital channel 47.1…as well as being available on cable and satellite. The exact channel numbers have not been determined.
In addition, we are putting FOX Parkersburg on another new channel, digital channel 22. It will still be available on cable and satellite just as it is today.
This tower work will NOT affect CAS or Suddenlink Cable customers or those who watch our stations on satellite, but it will impact those who get our stations over the air and the customers of some smaller cable companies
