We fly the American flag proudly here at WTAP.
And the station received a huge honor for that display of patriotism this afternoon.
The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution presented our very own Roger Sheppard with a certificate.
It was to recognize us for our exemplary patriotism in displaying the American flag.
Sheppard said it's our responsibility and opportunity to support our nation.
He also added the display of the flag shows respect towards our country and government officials.
