West Virginia cuts their car accident fatalities in half over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Three roadway deaths this year, compared to eight just last year, in a ten day period.
The West Virginia State Police says alcohol is currently not suspected in any of the three accidents.
Also, not counted in the three this year are two separate accidents on private property, one involving an ATV and another involving a farm tractor.
In 2011, an ATV accident (on a public roadway) is included in the 8 fatalities, plus a single accident with two deaths.
