WWII Vet Turns 100!

By  |

Cecil Dotson, a WWII veteran and Purple Heart recipient, was surprised with a private party thrown by his family at C.J.'s Italian kitchen in Vienna Saturday afternoon.

Born in 1914, Dotson served in WWII from 1942-1944 and spent most of that time over in Italy.

Joined by family and friends, Cecil enjoyed seeing everyone, looking at old pictures, and having his WWII uniform and Purple Heart on display.

Cecil has lived in the area most of his life, has three children, many grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
