Washington County Grand Jury handed down indictments today.
Ira Blair Jr. is indicted for murder and felonious assault in the death of Frank Stevens.
Blair was indicted last month for involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence. However, that indictment was thrown out because the prosecution instructed the grand jury incorrectly.
Prosecutor Kevin Rings says he reviewed the laws and presented the case to this month's grand jury, so today's indictment stands.
Indicted by the grand jury today, Michael Good is who charged with attempted aggravated murder and attempted murder.
Police say Good shot Richard Carter twice, once in the shoulder and once in the face back on May 26th, at a boat ramp in Newport, Ohio.
Also on the grand jury, Washington County Task Force broke up a major heroin drug ring between October 2012-May 2013.
6 people were indicted by the grand jury on multiple accounts of trafficking heroin and other drugs, as well as engaging in corrupt activity, including the following: Michael Richards, Heather Thompson, Thomas Gaughan, Abby Roach, Josh Gibson and Michael Snider.
There was a total of 40 bills of indictment this afternoon.
