The Ohio State Highway patrol is hoping a sobriety checkpoint will help deter drinking and driving, Friday evening.
Troopers will be in Washington County on Route 339, a tenth of a mile south of Beverly.
Officials tell us, in Washington County, there were 129 OVI arrests between January and June.
So far this year, there have been 141 impaired drivers removed from the roadways in the county.
The checkpoint starts at 8:00PM.
