Water service will be interrupted in part of Marietta starting Wednesday morning.
The City of Marietta Water/Distribution Department says the planned water outage impacts the 100 block of South Third St. and the condominiums on Ohio Street between Third and Fourth Streets.
A section of the water main in the 100 block of Third St. is leaking and needs cut out and replaced.
The outage begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23.
The southbound lane from Greene Street to Ohio Street will be closed to traffic.
There will be a boil water advisory for 24 hours after the work is completed.
The department says water could be brown and milky looking once service is restored.
Cold water lines should be flushed for 10 to 15 minutes.
