There was more water than just rain today in Marietta.
A 12 inch water line break today at Seventh St and Montgomery St. Marietta's water superintendent Jeff Kephart said he had never seen a break this big.
An estimated 200 people were without water or had low pressure. The pipe split right down the bottom and the pressure even blew a hole in the hill, sending water everywhere.
Workers shut the water off before the break and are replacing the pipe. Repairs are complete but water could be discolored. Officials recommend running cold water for about 10 minutes. If your water is still murky, call the water treatment plant.
