Environmental experts are looking into another possible scare on the Elk River in Charleston.
That's the same river hit by the MCHM leak in January.
A white foam was spotted floating along the river early Thursday morning.
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is looking into it.
DEP officials say it is something similar to foam and the source appears to be upstream of the Freedom Industries spill site.
West Virginia American Water was notified about the foam before 9 a.m. Thursday.
The water company says it may be a naturally occurring foam.
West Viginia Water has been in contact with the DEP and the West Virginia Bureau of Public Health.
