POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities say the body found in the Ohio River in the Point Pleasant area is that of a missing Ohio woman.

W.Va. State Police on Thursday said the body of 43-year-old Lisa Miller of Gallipolis, Ohio, was recovered from the middle of the river Wednesday evening.

Family members reported Miller missing last Wednesday. Gallipolis Police said Miller had been living along the riverbank in Gallipolis.

Both the Gallipolis Police Department and West Virginia State Police have open investigations into the case. They are waiting on results of the autopsy, but say no other action is expected at this time.
