Staff at the Parkersburg Correctional Center faced a fire Tuesday night.
We're told it was minor and wasn't inmate related or intentionally set.
It happened at about 11:20 Tuesday night at the facility on Holiday Hills Drive.
A spokesman for the corrections department says no one was hurt and the fire wasn't a threat to staff or the inmates.
What caused it does remain under investigation.
A fire breaks out at The Parkersburg Correctional Center overnight.
The Wood County 911 Center says it happened around 11:20 Tuesday night on the second floor.
Officials say flames were put out by 11:35 pm.
No injures were reported.
The Eastwood, Deerwalk and Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Departments were all on scene.
The fire remains under investigation.
