Once the Oktoberfest fun stopped flowing and the sun went down in Marietta, the living dead came out to play.
It was a thrilling night for kids and adults at the Zombie Walk 5 in Harmar Village Sunday night.
Zombie creatures of all ages participated in a costume contest that gave the judges and audience the chills.
Jeremy and Megan Miller were crowned the king and queens of the costume contest.
The living dead then made their way through Harmar Village for the Zombie Parade.
"I never really won anything you know big before and to get first in this is very awesome," says Jeremy Miller.
"I feel that the Zombie Walk is a great way for the community to all get together and have a lot of fun while celebrating the genre of zombies," added Ashley Oamraoui.
And to get everyone in the Halloween spirit, the Marietta Dance Academy did a routine to Michael Jackson's, "Thriller."
