Four People Transported After Accident

A two vehicle accident sends four people to the hospital.

While just one driver was cited for the accident, the other driver left the scene with multiple citations.

Wood County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan Windland says the accident happened at 8:30 last night at the intersection of the Pike Street Bypass and Pike Street.

He says Julie Stroehman of Parkersburg...driving a Dodge Caliber...struck a Nissan Quest driven by Belpre resident Jamie Seaford.

Deputy Windland says Stroehman was cited for failure to yield.

He says Seaford was cited for driving with a suspended license, no insurance, illegal registration and not having a child restraint.

The deputy says Stroehman and her passenger - Sue Ann Corbitt - were taken to the hospital.

He says two passengers in Seaford's vehicle were transported - James Rush of Belpre and a 15 year old girl.

The three adults transported were treated and released.
