WVU-P hosted College Goal Sunday. Volunteers were on hand helping students find scholarships and get started on their financial aid. The service is free to anyone who would like some assistance no matter what college they're applying for.

Early Morning House Fire In Pettyville

Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in Pettyville early Sunday morning. Mineral Wells Fire Chief, Jay Parsons says the house is a total loss because of the attic being burned down. The fire is still under investigation by the Wood County Investigation Team.

Vehicle Crash In Gallia County

The Gallipolis Post of the Ohio State Patrol is investigating a fatal vehicle crash involving four teens Friday afternoon. The crash happened on Country Road 57 (Fairview Road) in Gallia County. All four teens were taken to the Holzer of Gallipolis. 18-year-old driver, Brianna Byus, 17-year-old, Jordan Coughnour, and 18-year-old Kayla Williamson had minor injuries. 18-year-old, Bethany Hackney was pronounced dead at Holzer. The Crash is still under investigation.
