Morgantown, W.Va. (AP) -- A West Virginia University alumnus is launching an online literary and arts magazine next week.

"Connotation Press: An Online Artifact" is set to debut on Tuesday.

It's being developed by Kenneth Robidoux, a 2005 graduate of WVU's master of fine arts program in creative writing.

Robidoux says the magazine will publish a wide variety of arts, including poetry, plays, book reviews, a food and wine column, and videos of music and dance performances.

The magazine's first featured writer is WVU english professor and poet James Harms.

The magazine can be viewed starting next month at http://connotationpress.com.
