Bond Set For Grandson In Cleveland Pair's Slayings

CLEVELAND (AP) - A $3 million bond has been set for a 29-year-old man taken into custody in the slayings of his grandparents at their northeast Ohio home.

Anthony King of Parma appeared in Cuyahoga County Court Thursday. Court records show he is charged with
aggravated murder.

Cleveland police say he's suspected in the deaths of 75-year-old Jim King and his 72-year-old wife, Wava King. The Cuyahoga County medical examiner's office says both victims died from a blunt impact to the head that caused skull and brain injuries.

Media outlets reported that the couple's daughter lived with her parents and awoke Monday morning to find her mother dead on the couch. She called police, who found Jim King dead in the basement.

Court records did not list an attorney for Anthony King.
