Cleveland (AP) -- Former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Blanche Krupansky has died at her suburban Cleveland home in Fairview Park.
The Corrigan-Dicicco Funeral Home says Krupansky had been sick for several weeks.
She was 82.
Krupansky, a Republican, was appointed by then - Gov. James Rhodes in 1981 to the Ohio Supreme Court, becoming the second woman to serve on the court.
She was defeated in 1983 and returned to the 8th Ohio District Court of Appeals the following year.
