Moundsville, W.Va. (AP) -- A man who allowed an underage drinking party in his Moundsville home will spend 60 days in jail for the death of a 17-year-old.

Archie and Sabrina Stevey were charged with child neglect resulting in the death last February of Chaz Lightner.

On Tuesday, Archie Stevey pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and obstruction, both misdemeanors.

In exchange, charges against his wife were dropped.

Stevey must spend 60 days in the Northern Regional Jail with work release, followed by probation.

He also must donate $1,000 to the Chaz Lightner Scholarship Fund and speak about underage drinking at local schools.

Prosecutors say Lightner died of alcohol poisoning after consuming large amounts of whiskey through a beer-bong funnel.
