Middletown, Ohio (AP) -- Workers have spent several hours picking up thousands of empty beer bottles from a semi that overturned north of Cincinnati.
The spill forced officials to close an intersection in Butler County, near Middletown, and to ask CSX to halt train traffic on nearby tracks.
Officials say the truck's driver was taken to a Middletown Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cleanup Friday morning was slow because workers had to pick up the bottles by hand rather than with heavy equipment.
