Milton, WV (AP) -- A pacemaker led authorities to the identity of a 62-year-old man whose body was found in a garbage can along Interstate 64 near Milton.
The Cabell County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday the man's name isn't being released pending notification of family.
Police also aren't releasing the cause of death, although the sheriff's department said it's a homicide.
Sheriff Tom McComas had said earlier that police hope identifying the body will lead them to the killer.
A State Division of Highways worker discovered the industrial-sized garbage can monday at the edge of brush, about 10 feet to 15 feet from the interstate.
It was sealed with duct tape and there was blood on it.
