Charleston, WV (AP) -- AARP West Virginia has named Gaylene A. Miller as its interim director.
The 49-year-old Miller replaces Frank Bellinetti, who retired.
She had served as the state organization's associate state director since 2002.
AARP West Virginia state president Ruth Wagner said Friday Miller has worked on behalf of older West Virginians for more than 20 years.
Miller is a former Commissioner of the State Bureau of Senior Services.
She also was a long-term care Ombudsman for the Northern Panhandle Area Agency on Aging.
