St. Albans, W.Va. (AP) -- Authorities have added child neglect charges against a St. Albans man whose wife was arrested on the same charge after their 19-month-old toddler fell from a second-story a window while the couple allegedly played video games.
A criminal complaint says 23-year-old Mark Anthony Lewis Jr., was charged Tuesday with felony child neglect resulting in injury. Lewis and 22-year-old Paula J. Harrison are accused of leaving the toddler, a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old playing on the second floor of their home while they played video games downstairs.
Lewis is being held on a $25,000 bond at the South Central Regional Jail. Lewis and Harrison also face unrelated misdemeanor charges of transferring and receiving stolen goods.
