Wheeling, WV (AP) -- West Virginia Public Broadcasting is moving its northern panhandle news bureau from Bethany College to Wheeling Jesuit University.
Wheeling Jesuit and Public Broadcasting officials were scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding Friday afternoon.
Keri Brown has been named chief of the news bureau. She had served in that position for nearly seven years before joining the National Technology Transfer Center as a public affairs specialist.
Brown also is an adjunct faculty member at Wheeling Jesuit.
Wheeling Jesuit had hosted the news bureau for 15 years before it was moved to Bethany's campus.
The schools said they are working on a collaboration between their communications departments.
