Charleston, WV (AP) -- More than 315 educators who work with special needs students are planning to come to Charleston for a five-day conference on improving the learning experience for those children.

State schools superintendent Steve Paine says the conference will focus on cutting edge teaching techniques to help students reach their full potential.

Ted McCain, a national expert in technology education, will give the keynote address at the conference. McCain will focus on how schools have to change as technology changes the learning process.

The conference is scheduled to run from July 26 through July 30.
