AAA: Ohio Gas Prices Down 11 Cents From Last Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio gas prices have turned around and are moving lower again, after rising along with oil prices earlier in the month.

Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express puts the statewide average price for regular-grade gasoline at $3.26 a gallon, down 11 cents from last week.

Gas remains more expensive at Ohio pumps than it was last year at this time, when regular was averaging $2.79 per gallon.

Prices for gas have been following the ups and downs of oil prices, reflecting hot and cold reports about the U.S. economy.

Demand for oil depends on the strength of the economy.
