HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Huntington firefighters have a new boat to help respond to emergencies on the Ohio River.

The city fire department dedicated the boat Thursday at Harris Riverfront Park.

The 36-foot boat was bought through a $569,000 federal grant.

The boat will patrol 64 miles of the river between the Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam near Gallipolis Ferry and the Greenup Locks and Dam near Greenup, Kentucky.
