MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Morgantown police are investigating the death of a West Virginia University student who fell from a ledge.
The university identified the victim as 19-year-old Brian Weithenauer of Toms River, N.J.
The accident occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday. Media outlets report the victim fell from a wooden ledge outside an apartment building.
Police say foul play isn't suspected.
The university says grief counseling is being offered to members of Weithenauer's fraternity house, while transportation will be provided to and from his funeral service in New Jersey.
