LANCASTER, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in southeast Ohio are questioning a student after an alleged "hit list" was reportedly found in a school.

Fairfield County Sheriff Dave Phalen said Thursday the list was left in an office at Lancaster High School where student suspensions are served.

Phalen says he doesn't believe there was an actual threat but says the student was trying to stir up trouble.

WBNS-TV in Columbus reported Thursday the unidentified student was charged with inducing panic.

Lancaster Superintendent Steve Wigton tells the station that extra security was scheduled for the school on Friday.
