DELAWARE, Ohio (AP) - First lady Michelle Obama has told a crowd of supporters on a central Ohio campus that the president understands people are still hurting economically.
Michelle Obama said Monday at Ohio Wesleyan University it will take more than four years to rebuild an economy that was on the brink of collapse.
But Obama also ticked off her husband's accomplishments, from the new health care law to ending the war in Iraq, as reasons she says people's lives are better today.
She also took a jab at Republican nominee Mitt Romney's promise to eliminate funding of public broadcasting, saying that cutting Sesame Street is no way to balance the budget.
Obama said she cast her absentee ballot Monday and said she was excited because the day was election day for her.
